Example: conversion from one corridor to another

Two cross-border routes, one locomotive: Corridors D-A-CH-I-NL and D-A-HU-RO both link seaports to the hinterland and to central Europe. Depending on the development of the port capacities or traffic flows, it may be necessary to switch the deployment of locomotives from one corridor to the other, thus requiring adaptation of the train protection equipment. Converting between these corridors with Vectron involves less expenditure in both time and costs.
