With our globally applicable Lineside Electronic Unit LEU 150, which was developed from scratch, railway operators can increase safety and interoperability by means of European Train Control System standards (ETCS) on the basis of their existing infrastructure. Regardless of the technology in use, our communication unit processes interlocking and signalling information into ETCS telegrams and transmits them to the balises.
The Trainguard® Lineside Electronic Unit 150 (LEU 150) forms a link between existing fixed signals and the ETCS (European Train Control System) components in the track, in other words the Eurobalises and Euroloops. The LEU 150 fulfills the becessary requirements for digitalization and prepares your railway system for Industry 4.0.
