Establish the digital foundation of your locomotive
Operating and maintaining locomotives still requires a lot of manual effort. For example, vehicle data often needs to be extracted manually before you can integrate it into your IT systems, making the process time-consuming and error-prone. The Entity in Charge of Maintenance (ECM) II needs to track quality measures and vehicle changes individually, which means that this and other maintenance information is scattered and easily outdated. Similarly, transparency on compatible, purchased and active digital product bundles per vehicle is limited. With the core package for Vectron X, many tasks can be carried out digitally. Besides reducing manual effort, this increases operational transparency and shortens maintenance times. In addition, you ensure that your locomotive is ready for further digital products and that staff can navigate to the vehicle faster.

Vehicle Info (App & API)
With this digital product, you can directly access basic vehicle data such as mileage, GPS location, speed, trip-ID and vehicle-ID via your mobile device or by integrating it into your IT systems via a standardized interface (API). The map view in the Vehicle Info App ensures that your staff can navigate to the vehicle easily and safely.
Digital Service Documentation
It makes up-to-date maintenance information available to you. Everything is documented digitally in one application and updated automatically, while smart search and filtering functions help you find what you’re looking for.

Rising energy costs are putting increasing pressure on profit margins in rail operations. The Energy Efficiency product bundle for Vectron X supports you in this regard. It helps you save up to 10% of energy, reduces both your workload and wear and tear on the locomotive, and improves your comfort.

- Vectron Eco Cruise automatically provides you with clear driving recommendations on the diagnostic display. For additional assistance, it offers automatic speed control (ASC), which ensures energy-efficient driving while you remain in full control.
- Thanks to the integration of DB InfraGo green functions, you also receive live updates that help you adapt your driving to current traffic conditions.
Access and prepare your locomotives remotely
Preparing locomotives for operation is time-consuming and requires significant personnel effort. Your staff often has limited insight into the vehicle status before arriving on-site, resulting in unnecessary time spent navigating to and preparing the vehicle. The Vehicle Productivity product bundle allows authorized staff members to access and prepare locomotives remotely. It also enhances comfort by providing a preconditioned driver’s cabin – either cooled or heated. Overall, this product bundle helps you reduce personnel costs and operational downtime, improves winter operations through regular remote start and stop functions, and gets vehicles ready for operation faster. In addition, it offers greater convenience and relief for your staff.

Everything you need on your Smart Screen

Driver Experience consists of two digital products: TrainPlay™ and the Live Traffic App.
- TrainPlay™ allows you to mirror selected mobile apps (own or third-party) that are relevant for operations on the Smart Screen. This way, you can see everything at once and no longer need to switch between devices.
