• Controlguide Core Dispatch System will help maximize network capacity

New York, NY (October, 16 2023) – Siemens Mobility and CSX, a Class I freight railroad company operating in the eastern United States and Canada, have agreed to expand their partnership developing and implementing digital solutions for freight rail. With approximately 20,000 route miles of track, the collaboration will allow CSX to optimize its rail traffic by leveraging Siemens’ Controlguide Core Dispatch System (CDS) and Siemens Rail Traffic Network Optimization Solution, TPS.live. Siemens Mobility and CSX started working together to define the features and functions for Controlguide CDS in July 2022 and have agreed to a joint production operation rollout of the latest capabilities in 2027.

Controlguide CDS offers granular visualization into CSX’s Network Rail Operations and an architecture stack that provides CSX continuous access and visibility into their operations. This will allow for faster decision-making and route optimization.
