The Combino streetcar from Siemens moves quietly and smoothly. Less is more: There is no human intervention whatsoever in the driver's cab. The world's first streetcar with autonomous driving functions was presented by Siemens Mobility and ViP at InnoTrans in 2018. The decisive new feature is the interaction between the autonomously driving vehicle and the YMS yard management system developed by Siemens.
