The requirement of being able to make calls with the mobile phone anytime and anywhere and to receive data at high speed requires good network coverage. The conditions for this are particularly bad on regional and high-speed trains. The aim is to show which parameters influence the design of the side windows and how the glass can be manipulated in such a way that cell phone reception is also possible in the Velaro MS.
