With an ever-increasing demand for rail technology, the time has come for us to secure our future in Chippenham. So we're investing £100 million in a brand-new digital engineering, manufacturing and research and development centre in Chippenham, Wiltshire. This is where we will build the next generation of conventional and digital rail signalling and control systems for Britain.

We are committed to building in Britain. Our new facility is a testament to this commitment, as we continue to work alongside our 2,500 suppliers, 52% of which are UK-based SMEs, to transform rail travel and transport for everyone. The facility will replace our current site in Chippenham.

For over a century, we have continuously pushed the boundaries of innovation, leaving an indelible mark on major projects such as the Elizabeth line, North Wales Coast, Birmingham New Street, and numerous global initiatives from our current Chippenham factory, the UK’s sole dedicated facility for signalling and control.
