Journey planning
There are many ways to get from A to B. From the multitude of options our algorithm finds optimal suggestions for travelers to reach their destination. Both, timetable-based travel information for a single operator and the search for intermodal routes across multiple providers are supported.

There are many ways to get from A to B. From the multitude of options our algorithm finds optimal suggestions for travelers to reach their destination. Both, timetable-based travel information for a single operator and the search for intermodal routes across multiple providers are supported.
The HAFAS.engine search algorithm from our subsidiary Hacon ensures that individual preferences of travelers are taken into account. Passengers can decide for example whether they prefer cheap, fast or sustainable routes.
HAFAS.engine — the algorithm behind travel planning
The algorithm's calculations can only help travelers if the routes are available for selection in a user-friendly app.
HAFAS.mobile – Frontends
When searching for connections, we differentiate between two options: Either travelers already know their exact destination or they are looking for “Points of interest” (POIs) such as restaurants. Our frontends optimally cover both use cases.
