The coach car has a spacious interior and is easily configured into economy, business, cafe or cab cars to fit your specific needs. The trainset also features the safest rail car design on the market, with Crash Energy Management (CEM) crumple zones at both ends. Powered by our market-leading Charger diesel-electric locomotive, it travels at speeds up to 125 mph. In short, the Venture is being embraced by passengers, operators, and agencies alike.

Thanks to wider aisles, wheelchair storage, and fully accessible restrooms, the Venture trainset exceeds ADA requirements. Automatic gap fillers or trap doors in combination with retractable steps ease boarding and all passengers can move smoothly between adjacent cars via weatherproof gangway connections.

Safety features from end to end
Carbodies have CEM on both ends and seat tracks meet current APTA requirements for strength and crashworthiness. Coupled gangways and grab handles on aisle seats improve safe passage through and between cars.
Carbodies designed for endurance
Not only does the innovative stainless steel coach carshell look sleek, it is also corrosion-resistant and insulates interiors from heat loss or gain. The carbodies work well in all North American climates and help to provide a comfortable interior environment.
Most efficient, green locomotive
Our Charger diesel-locomotive technology can use both regular and clean diesel. It is powered by the Cummins QSK95 engine, which meets EPA Tier IV+ compliance while operating at speeds up to 125 mph. It weighs just 271,000 pounds, can reach 4,400 HP, and has an intelligent control system that further improves fuel economy.
Service tailored to your needs
We offer a wide range of service options, from onsite technical services to materials management expertise. Every Siemens Mobility vehicle can report its conditions, including mileage and faults, back to our Siemens Mobility Rail Remote Service Desk. Over 2,250 vehicles are under Siemens Mobility service contracts and operate with more than 98% reliability every day.
Brightline Florida built on Venture Trainsets
Siemens Mobility worked closely with Brightline Florida during a rigorous design process that led to the Venture trainset. The first trainset from the initial order was delivered in December 2016 and to-date Siemens has delivered ten trainsets to this customer. Siemens Mobility has also delivered Venture trainsets to Caltrans and VIA Rail as well as Venture cars to Illinois DOT and is under contract to supply Venture trainsets to Amtrak, Ontario Northland and Venture cars to Wisconsin DOT.
