Siemens Mobility is serving as the technology partner to VinSpeed supporting the planning, design, supply and integration of Velaro Novo high-speed trains and railway subsystems, with potential collaboration on maintenance to ensure high system availability.

Velaro Novo is Siemens Mobility’s latest high-speed train platform, capable of operating at speeds of up to 350 km/h, offering at least 10% higher passenger capacity, enhanced safety, and improved energy efficiency.

The agreement covers priority high-speed routes including the Ha Noi – Quang Ninh (Ha Long) line, spanning 121 kilometers with four stations, and the Ben Thanh – Can Gio line, spanning 54 kilometers with two stations.
