Your apprenticeship at Siemens Mobility Austria
Siemens Mobility Austria offers many opportunities for young people who want to start an apprenticeship with a future. A total of eight apprenticeships are available, including metal technology, welding technology, application development and industrial clerk. The largest training locations are the training workshops of the two plants in Vienna and Graz. The apprentices receive extensive training during their apprenticeship, one of the main focuses being automation technology. At the moment we employ 130 apprentices, every year we take on about 50 more. We attach particular importance to bringing more women into technology and therefore we particularly want to encourage young women to do an apprenticeship in a technical environment. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship training, the apprentices are taken on by Siemens Mobility Austria as valuable and fully qualified specialists. Siemens Mobility Austria also offers apprenticeships with Matura, along with numerous other benefits within the company. The work performed in the technical apprenticeship is integrated into the production and is visible in our products, which are represented worldwide.
