Today, our Canadian presence includes approximately 4,600 employees across 38 office and production facilities countrywide, supported by more than 1,940 Canadian suppliers. This long-standing foundation underscores our dedication to strengthening Canada’s economy, advancing innovation, and supporting the country’s industrial development.

Across Canada, Siemens Mobility has been providing transportation solutions for more than 40 years. Our experience includes railway infrastructure maintenance in Quebec and Ontario; light rail vehicles operating in Edmonton and Calgary; all 32 trainsets delivered to VIA Rail Canada; trainsets delivered to Ontario Northland, supporting the return of Northeastern passenger rail; delivering 10 locomotives for Montreal’s Exo; and the rail electrification and overall system maintenance for the Kitchener Waterloo light rail transit network. Our footprint also includes dispatching services from Dorval, Québec, supporting more than 25 railways across over 3,300 miles of track. In total, we are supporting more than 31 railways across Canada.
